What is Mindfulness?

Mindfulness is a state of active, open attention on the present. When you're mindful, you observe your thoughts and feelings from a distance, without judging them good or bad. Instead of letting your life pass you by, mindfulness means living in the moment and awakening to experience.

 What is Self-Compassion?

Self-Compassion helps us to respond to our emotions with greater kindness and self-care. This is not self-pity and it's not self-esteem.  It's recognizing that the human experience is hard for all of us. Practicing self-compassion is equipping yourself with tools so that you can tame your inner critic, boost resilience, move out of your comfort zone, build courage to take risks, navigate setbacks and live a more productive life.
